STUDENT LIFE

Athletics

The focus at Calvary Christian School Athletics is to develop positive and confident boys and girls who express exceptional character and high moral values on and off the field. We embrace the belief that the athlete's character comes first. Winning is secondary. When winning is kept in the right perspective, our student athletes are allowed to develop without fear of failure. They learn to understand the value of praise, as well as that of constructive criticism. The value of working together as a team to overcome chalenges. Winning must be accomplished while competing in the purest sense of fair play and good sportsmanship. Character shaped through athletic competition will carry over into all other areas of life.

WEEKLY CHAPEL

Because we seek to build Godly character in our students, we have our weekly chapels for all age groups. This faith building activity is a wonderful time of praise, prayer and taking some time to meditate on God's Word.

ANNUAL CHRISTMAS PROGRAM

One of the highlights of the year is the annual Christmas program in December. There is nothing more rewarding than our children presenting a warm and loving reminder of what Christmas is all about. Friends and family are invited to join us as we honor the birth of Christ with songs of joy and a wonderful drama.

Calvary Christian School offers  a variety of student extra-curricular activities. Whether it's our various sports activities or our faith building weekly chapel services. We seek to provide an enriching experience that will offer life long friendships and special memories in a Christian enviroment.

INTERNATIONAL STUDENT CONVENTION

Precious few experiences will influence your students for their entire lifetime. ISC represents one experience that can make that bold promise. ISC encourages students to build on their experiences from Regional Student Conventions. Participants choose from more than 140 performance and nonperformance events to demonstrate their achievements in a wide range of categories from chess to Bible memory and from basketball to art. The 2016 International Student Convention took place May 21–26 @ the University of Central Missouri (UCM) • Warrensburg, Missouri. For more information on ISC you can visit the A.C.E. Ministries web site @ http://www.aceministries.com/studentprograms/isc/
